When The Sky Gave Birth is a work about recognising our own power and surrendering to it. As women we can forget that mighty power within us, it can become quiet, dormant. But one day a faint memory pervades our minds: At the dawn of time, the sky rumbled - it cracked and cleaved open and gave birth to it’s daughters. We fell from our mother - whole, majestic, terrifying, beautiful beings that cascaded from above.
