COMMISSION AN ARTWORK
-
Read through these steps and if commissioning a work feels right for you then you can get in touch via the contact form below.
What you’ll need to know to be able to get a quote is:
desired size for the artwork
1 or more reference images of my work that you love
I’ll respond with an estimate for your work, if you’re happy with the quote then we can dive a little deeper into creating your brief ↓
-
Get to know my artwork and choose 1 - 3 pieces that really resonate with you. If you’re able to email photos of the works that you like I can quickly get an idea of the aesthetic you like. It’s also very helpful to some ideas around your colour palette. I don’t need a complete set of colours, think more like: “I love warm, earthy tones” or “bright and playful please!” or “pinks and scarlet to offset my green leafy plants!”. Once you and I are both happy and clear on the brief for the artwork, I’ll send through the first invoice so I can get started on creating your artwork.
-
Payment is made in two equal parts. A 50% deposit is to be paid before I can commence any work, while the remainder is to be paid once the work is completed.
I quote each commission enquiry individually based on size, if the style of the work is more intricate or time consuming, or if the brief has some challenging elements. Once we’re both happy with the artwork brief and I have all the info needed to get started, I then invoice for 50% of the payment as a deposit before starting the artwork.
-
Please allow 2 - 3 months for your artwork to be completed.
Once I have gotten your piece to a point that I feel is near finished I’ll send through some images to make sure it resonates with you. At this point minor changes can be made if necessary. Once you’ve signed off on your artwork I’ll send through the final invoice so it can be with you as soon as possible!
